INSOMNIUM and AMORPHIS

Insomnium is a melodic death metal band from Joensuu, Finland. The sound and lyrical themes of their music portray darkness, sorrow, loss, pain, and nature. Although they are primarily a melodic death metal band, their tracks could be seen as reminiscent of doom metal and progressive metal. On 9 September 2011 Insomnium released the music video "Through the Shadows" from their 2011 album, One for Sorrow. In November, 2011 Insomnium embarked on their first headlining European tour with support from Before the Dawn and MyGRAIN.

Amorphis is a Finnish heavy metal band founded by Jan Rechberger, Tomi Koivusaari, and Esa Holopainen in 1990. Initially, the band was a death metal act, but on later albums they evolved into playing other genres, including heavy metal, progressive metal, and folk metal. They frequently use the Kalevala, the epic poem of Finland, as a source for their lyrics. Jan Rechberger played in a thrash metal band called Violent Solution, which Tomi Koivusaari had left in 1990 to form the death metal band Abhorrence, with Koivusaari being replaced by Esa Holopainen. Violent Solution slowly dissolved with Jan Rechberger and Esa Holopainen deciding to continue working with each other to form their own death metal band, Amorphis.

Hinayana is a melodic metal band from Austin Texas. Originally created as a one man project by Casey Hurd (who also wrote and recorded the entire "Endless" demo/EP) has molded Hinayana into the full line up it is today, releasing Order Divine in 2018.
